**Job Title**
ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps modules. Collaborate with business stakeholders, integrate external systems, ensure performance, and mentor junior developers.
**Expactations**
- Deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with enterprise service management goals.
- Maintain high coding quality, adhere to governance standards, and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Mentor and support the growth of junior developers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, code, and deploy ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, and UI Policies.
- Lead development in prioritized modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
- Gather requirements with stakeholders and business analysts.
- Build, test, and maintain REST, SOAP, and MID Server integrations.
- Manage platform upgrades, clone processes, and performance tuning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve problems.
**Required Skills**
- 3–5 years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of at least one module (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
- Experience with custom and scoped applications.
- Familiarity with REST, SOAP, MID Server integrations.
- Ability to work with CMDB, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics (plus).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
- Preferred: CIS‑ITSM, CAD, Application Developer, or other advanced ServiceNow certifications.
