**Job Title**
Solutions Architect
**Role Summary**
Design and lead scalable, cloud‑centric technology solutions for government and financial services clients, integrating architecture across business, data, application, technology, and security domains. Serve as a technical champion, creating architecture artifacts, guiding engineering teams, and collaborating with senior stakeholders on transformation roadmaps.
**Expactations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end architecture solutions that meet business, technical, and security requirements.
- Provide thought leadership and guardrails for development teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Exhibit hands‑on engineering credibility while steering high‑level strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Produce high‑level designs, technical options papers, and architecture decisions.
2. Lead architectural vision and establish guardrails across engineering squads.
3. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape business cases, cost estimates, and transformation roadmaps.
4. Operate across architecture domains, with deep specialism in at least one area (e.g., data, application, integration, cloud, security).
5. Solve complex technical problems in fast‑paced, agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
6. Maintain and evolve architecture artifacts (UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq).
7. Actively participate in client‑face and internal innovation initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience in software engineering or development leadership.
- Strong grounding in architectural principles, frameworks, and delivery practices.
- Expertise across multiple domains with specialty in one (cloud, data, application, integration, or security).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Salesforce, IBM, etc.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, MODAF, and Modelling languages (UML, ArchiMate).
- Agile certification or experience (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset; ability to navigate complex environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cloud certifications (AWS Architect, Azure Solutions, GCP Architect) highly desirable.
- Architecture certifications (TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman) or Agile/SAFe certifications preferred.
