Job Description

Job title: Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Powered Consumer App) Role Summary: Deliver end-to-end consumer features for a voice‑driven AI application. Collaborate with designers, product, and AI specialists to ship web and mobile functionality, backend services, and real‑time communication. Expectations: Own full feature lifecycle from design to deployment at a fast‑moving startup. Drive high‑quality, production‑ready code with robust monitoring, analytics, and cost‑aware scaling. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and ship features in React (web) and React Native (mobile). - Build Node.js + TypeScript backends with REST or GraphQL APIs. - Implement real‑time chat, voice, and video using WebSockets/WebRTC. - Integrate third‑party services (OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, payments, reservations, messaging) with monitoring and error handling. - Configure CI/CD, logging, metrics, and cloud scaling on AWS or GCP. - Instrument analytics for user engagement and system health. - Prototype and iterate with product/design based on user data. Required Skills: - 4–10 years of production consumer software experience at startups or high‑growth firms. - Expert TypeScript and React; comfortable with React Native or Node.js. - Proven ownership of APIs, data models, and end‑to‑end features. - Solid Postgres and Redis expertise; cloud deployment (AWS or GCP). - Strong system design, testing, and code quality practices. - Excellent collaboration and communication with product and leadership. - Comfortable in a high‑context, fast‑moving environment.
