**Job Title:** Technical Sales Representative **Role Summary:** Drive revenue by identifying, qualifying, and securing new business for technical warehouse storage and material handling solutions. Serve as the primary technical and commercial liaison between prospects and internal teams, delivering customized product presentations, training, and ongoing support to achieve customer satisfaction and sales targets. **Expectations:** - Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and annual revenue goals. - Expand the customer base within the industrial and warehouse storage market. - Build long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, ensuring repeat business and referrals. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of sales activities in the CRM system. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and trade events. - Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and requirement analyses for prospects. - Develop tailored solutions and proposals that align with customer operational needs and budgets. - Provide product and system training to clients, ensuring proper use and longevity of installations. - Coordinate with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to finalize solutions and deliver on schedule. - Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, closing deals in accordance with company policies. - Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report progress to management. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in technical and general sales within the material handling or industrial storage sector. - Strong technical acumen for warehouse storage systems, racking, and material handling equipment. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both technical and non‑technical audiences. - Customer‑focused service orientation, with the ability to identify and address client needs. - Effective negotiation, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. - Proficiency using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - Valid sales or technical certifications relevant to material handling or industrial equipment are an asset.
