**Job Title** Head of Sales **Role Summary** Lead and scale a North American sales organization for a B2B SaaS procurement-to-pay platform. Build and mentor a small team of Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), design a predictable sales motion, and drive revenue growth from early traction to scale. **Expectations** - Grow revenue by hiring, coaching, and retaining top sales talent. - Deliver on ambitious pipeline and quota targets (mid–five‑figure ACV deals with finance leaders). - Own key strategic deals, model best practices, and keep close market awareness. - Build lightweight forecasting, reporting, and pipeline systems. - Partner with marketing and product to refine positioning, ICP, and go‑to‑market strategy. - Collaborate directly with founders on pricing, strategy, and market expansion. **Key Responsibilities** - Recruit, onboard, and develop a high‑performing AEs and BDRs team. - Design and continuously improve the end‑to‑end sales process from outreach to close. - Mentor reps to accelerate learning, increase confidence, and raise performance standards. - Champion a coaching culture that emphasizes execution, accountability, and rapid skill growth. - Handle high‑stakes deals personally to demonstrate market insight and set team expectations. - Create and maintain clear, friction‑free forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management tools. - Align sales plans with marketing, product, and pricing initiatives through cross‑functional collaboration. - Advise founders on pricing strategy, sales tactics, and expansion into Canada and the U.S. market. - Contribute to building the brand reputation as the leading AP automation platform for finance teams. **Required Skills** - 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role. - Proven track record of scaling a SaaS business from early traction to significant growth. - Deep experience selling to CFOs, VPs Finance, Controllers, and finance leaders; closed mid‑five‑figure ACV contracts. - Strong coaching ability with a history of building systems and elevating team performance. - Excellent organization, follow‑up, and forecasting discipline. - Demonstrated talent for recruiting top sales performers and building an accountable culture. - Curiosity about AI, automation, and their impact on finance workflows. - Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ownership‑driven environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. - Advanced sales or leadership certifications preferred but not mandatory.
