Job Description

**Job Title:** Head of Finance – Growth Stage AI/SaaS **Role Summary:** Lead the design and execution of financial strategy and operations for a high‑growth AI/SaaS company. Serve as the primary finance partner to the CEO and executive team, building the finance function from the ground up, driving investor relations, financial modeling, and scalable reporting systems to support rapid expansion and Series B readiness. **Expectations:** - Own the end‑to‑end finance organization, achieving real‑time, actionable financial insight. - Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis to guide strategic decisions. - Build credibility with investors, board members, and stakeholders through transparent communication. - Establish scalable processes and technology that grow with the company’s financial complexity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead investor relations, fundraising preparation, and board communications. - Develop forward‑looking financial models, forecasts, and scenario plans. - Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering on pricing, budgeting, and ROI analysis. - Implement scalable dashboards, KPIs, and reporting processes. - Oversee external bookkeeping and manage accounting operations (AR/AP, collections, reconciliations, compliance). **Required Skills:** - Advanced financial modeling and forecasting. - Investor relations and fundraising experience (Series A/B). - Strong communication with board and executive teams. - Expertise in pricing strategy and cost‑benefit analysis. - Proven ability to design scalable finance systems and dashboards. - Solid understanding of SaaS financial metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV). - Experience in managing external bookkeeping and accounting operations. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification preferred. - CPA designation strongly desired. ---
