**Job Title** Scrum Master **Role Summary** Short‑term (6‑month) contract to lead and coach multiple cross‑functional Scrum teams in a financial services environment. Responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, tracking performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement to ensure on‑time delivery of high‑impact initiatives. **Expectations** - Start immediately or within short notice. - Hybrid work: 2 days onsite in Leeds, 3 days remote. - Deliver consistent coaching and Agile transformation outcomes across all teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles and practices. - Identify, monitor, and remove impediments that block progress. - Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burn‑down). - Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and delivery leads to align priorities. - Champion Agile transformation initiatives and continuous improvement. - Maintain relevant Agile documentation in Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools. **Required Skills** - Certified Scrum Master (CSM or A‑CSM). - Proven experience managing two or more Scrum teams in a scaled Agile environment. - In‑depth knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks. - Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement abilities. - Proficiency with Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Azure Boards, etc.). - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a CSM or A‑CSM certification. - SAFe Agilist or PMI‑ACP certifications considered an advantage. - Relevant university degree or equivalent professional training in Agile, software development, or project management.
