Job Description
Job title: LabVIEW Software Development Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW‑based software for automated wafer‑level test systems that evaluate magnetic memory and sensor technologies under magnetic field conditions. Expactations: Deliver robust, scalable test solutions; manage release cycles; support customer deployment; uphold engineering quality standards; collaborate cross‑functionally; continuously improve processes. Key Responsibilities: • Prototype and develop integrated test benches for electrical characterization of MRAM, TMR, Hall, AMR, and GMR devices at wafer and chip level. • Implement and maintain test protocols in LabVIEW, interfacing with commercial and proprietary instrumentations. • Execute quality assurance, validation, and compliance tests (unit, integration, regression). • Contribute to software architecture design—scalability, modularity, security. • Manage version control (Git/GitLab), release management, and documentation (user manuals, technical guides). • Support CI/CD pipelines, continuous integration, and release automation. • Work with field application engineers to troubleshoot and deploy test software at customer sites. • Align software deliverables with product development roadmap and project milestones. Required Skills: • Proficient in LabVIEW with experience in multithreaded application development. • Familiarity with industrial instrumentation interfaces (GPIB, VISA, OPC, serial). • Source‑control expertise (Git/GitLab) and documentation tools. • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities. • Clear oral and written communication in English. • Self‑motivated, collaborative, continuous learner. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 3‑5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in automated test equipment or robotic systems. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, design control processes, and quality standards (ISO, CMMI) is advantageous.
