Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled LabVIEW Software Development Engineer to join Mycronic's Global Technologies division, working within our Magnetic Test business line (Hprobe). Hprobe is a fast-growing company that develops and markets Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for emerging technologies in the semiconductor industry. Our unique equipment provides innovative solutions for testing spintronic components under magnetic fields, particularly in the MRAM (Magnetic Random Access Memory) and TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) embedded memory sectors. Our customers include the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers and global technology leaders.

The LabVIEW Software Development Engineer will be responsible for prototyping, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for automated wafer test equipment. These systems are specialized in testing magnetic technologies such as MRAM memories and magnetic sensors including Hall, AMR, GMR, and TMR, which are used in a wide range of electronics applications.

This is a hands-on role within a cross-functional team environment, requiring adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This role will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including development of user interfaces, control hardware communication, database access, and diagnostic software tools.

Key Responsibilities

Designs and develops automated test benches for electrical characterization at the wafer and chip level under magnetic field conditions
Implements robust test protocols in LabVIEW, integrating both commercial and proprietary instrumentation
Executes software quality assurance and validation protocols to ensure reliability and performance
Contributes to the evolution of software architecture to support scalability and maintainability
Manages software release cycles, including preparation and delivery to customers
Develops and maintains unit tests, integration tests, and quality protocols to ensure compliance with release standards
Supports continuous integration workflows and contribute to process improvements
Creates and maintains comprehensive software documentation, including user manuals and technical guides
Collaborates with field application engineers to support deployment and troubleshooting at customer sites
Delivers software modules and test programs aligned with the product development roadmap

Experience And Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with a strong foundation in Software Engineering
3-5+ years of experience in software design and development, ideally with exposure to automated robotic equipment systems
Proficient in LabVIEW, with experience in source control tools (e.g., Git/GitLab) and developing multithreaded applications
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts
Self-motivated and passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and contributing to team success
Creative and pragmatic, able to improve existing solutions while balancing technical constraints and project goals
