Job Description

**Job Title** Fire & Security Service Engineer **Role Summary** Provide preventive, reactive, and remedial maintenance for integrated electronic fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems across residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with British Standards and client specifications. **Expectations** - Deliver all maintenance tasks to professional standards within scheduled timeframes. - Maintain accurate asset logs and daily work reports. - Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. - Adhere to safety, policy, and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on fire and security systems. - Respond to fault alerts and execute corrective repairs. - Log equipment status and maintenance actions in asset management system. - Manage daily workload, prioritising multiple simultaneous tasks. - Provide face‑to‑face customer service and report progress to the office. - Follow health and safety procedures and company policies. **Required Skills** - Knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, and access control principles and British Standards. - Ability to conduct preventive maintenance to current standards. - Proficiency with Entrotec training or equivalent. - Strong customer‑facing communication and teamwork. - Time‑management and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. - Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting. **Required Education & Certifications** - Relevant qualification in fire and security engineering (NSI, LPCB, or similar). - Certification in CCTV/Access Control (e.g., Entrotec). - Clean criminal record; successful CRB/DBS clearance required.
