**Job title**: Azure Cloud Architect
**Role Summary**: Lead design, implementation, and support of Azure Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, internal standards, and cybersecurity requirements. Provide hands‑on expertise and serve as the subject‑matter expert for Azure and related cloud technologies within the infrastructure team.
**Expectations**:
- 30 % design, 45 % implementation, 25 % support.
- Own end‑to‑end Azure platform lifecycle: architecture, configuration, deployment, security, and operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Design scalable, secure Azure architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that meet business and security needs.
2. Lead the implementation and configuration of Azure services, including Azure Stack, and integration with third‑party enterprise applications.
3. Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 services: SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Dynamics 365.
4. Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and optimization for the Azure environment.
5. Enforce security controls, compliance policies, and internal standards across all cloud services.
6. Mentor and collaborate with the infrastructure team on cloud best practices and continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**:
- Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
- Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Dynamics 365).
- Azure Stack and integration with third‑party applications.
- Cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Terraform).
- DevOps principles (CI/CD, GitOps).
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident response.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Azure certifications: AZ‑303 / AZ‑304, AZ‑400, or equivalent.
- Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101) preferred.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
