Job Description: **Job Title** ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer **Role Summary** Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow instances and business processes for a mission‑critical government environment. Design custom scoped applications, core platform extensions, and integrations while ensuring secure, efficient solutions and timely delivery. **Expectations** - Hold an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for a polygraph. - Leverage at least 7 years of progressive enterprise IT operations experience and 3 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development. - Deliver optimized, secure platform solutions, contribute to architecture discussions, and maintain comprehensive documentation. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure, develop, support, and maintain ServiceNow instances and business processes. - Design and develop custom scoped and core ServiceNow applications. - Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and deliver optimized solutions. - Modify out‑of‑the‑box platform applications to accelerate delivery. - Develop application fields, forms, views, roles, and access controls. - Integrate ServiceNow APIs with third‑party technologies. - Design and build integrations, workflows, configurations, and reporting. **Required Skills** - ServiceNow configuration and development (Madrid release or newer). - Design of custom scoped and core ServiceNow applications. - Requirement gathering, workflow analysis, and solution delivery. - Proficiency with JavaScript, XML, and JSON. - API integration (REST/SOAP) and security best practices. - Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences. - Familiarity with Agile software development practices. - Knowledge of ITILv4 principles. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field **or** ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA). - Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for a polygraph. - (Preferred) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), advanced CA certifications, or ServiceNow Romeo release experience. ---
