Job Title: Data Scientist
Role Summary: Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, build and optimize predictive machine‑learning models, develop data pipelines, translate business problems into data‑driven solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and monitor models.
Expectations: 0–12 years of experience, valid UK work eligibility, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and insights.
- Build, train, and optimize supervised and unsupervised ML models.
- Translate stakeholder business problems into data‑science solutions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines: wrangling, cleaning, transformation.
- Create visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and BI teams.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models (MLOps).
- Follow best practices in documentation, reproducibility, and version control.
Required Skills:
- Expert in Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn.
- Proficiency with SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience with machine‑learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and deep‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Data‑visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
- Familiarity with big‑data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
- Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring.
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Version control with Git and CI/CD experience.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical mindset, and storytelling communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
