Job Description: Job Title: Software/AI Engineering Intern Role Summary: Assist in developing and enhancing an AI‑powered business intelligence dashboard. Responsibilities include integrating forecasting models, building data pipelines, implementing backend APIs, and contributing to front‑end dashboard components. Expectations: Deliver functional code within agile cycles, collaborate closely with senior engineers, and participate in documentation and architecture discussions. Must ship features, debug issues, and maintain high code quality. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate OpenAI API and forecasting models (e.g., Prophet, XGBoost) into product. - Construct and clean data pipelines, connect diverse data sources. - Develop, test, and maintain FastAPI endpoints linked to PostgreSQL. - Add new UI components and polish existing Streamlit dashboard features. - Document design decisions, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews. - Engage in architecture planning and technical discussions with the engineering team. Required Skills: - Strong programming in Python. - Experience with FastAPI or similar web frameworks. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL (schema design, queries). - Hands‑on use of the OpenAI API or comparable ML inference services. - Basic knowledge of machine‑learning libraries (Prophet, XGBoost, etc.). - Comfortable with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices. - Ability to write clear technical documentation. - Problem‑solving mindset and collaboration skills.
