**Job Title:** Cloud Engineer (AWS Lex & Microservices)
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex, integrating them with microservices‑based, high‑availability AWS environments. Ensure security, performance, and scalability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
**Expectations:**
- 3–5 + years of hands‑on experience with AWS services, especially Amazon Lex, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Proven ability to build, containerize, and orchestrate microservices (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and enhance chatbots on Amazon Lex V1/V2.
- Integrate Lex bots with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
- Develop Lambda functions for business logic and orchestration.
- Manage APIs via API Gateway with security best practices.
- Containerize services and deploy using Docker & Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and fault‑tolerance (CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager).
- Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to define conversational flows.
- Conduct testing, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Follow AWS best practices, CI/CD standards, and IaC automation.

- Amazon Lex (intents, slots, fulfillment)
- AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager
- Microservices architecture, REST APIs, JSON
- Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS)

**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate) preferred.
