Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow Service Portal solutions and integrations for long‑term contract engagements, ensuring high quality, scalable, and maintainable applications. Expectations: 12+ years overall IT experience, Certified Application Developer (CAD), proven ability to lead end‑to‑end portal development, strong integration expertise, excellent communication, and meticulous debugging and scripting skills. Key Responsibilities: - Build and configure ServiceNow Service Portal from scratch, including UI, widgets, and branding. - Develop and extend custom applications, modules, and workflows using ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide). - Design, implement, and maintain REST/SOAP/API integrations with external systems. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize scripts, business rules, client scripts, and integration components. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. - Produce and maintain technical documentation, best‑practice guides, and knowledge base articles. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities in a CI/CD environment. Required Skills: - Extensive ServiceNow development experience (12+ years overall). - Hands‑on design and implementation of Service Portal end‑to‑end. - Certified Application Developer (CAD) and deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture. - Strong integration capability using REST, SOAP, and API patterns. - Advanced scripting proficiency (JavaScript, GlideScript, client/server). - Debugging, performance tuning, and security best practices. - Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
