Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Lex Enginer with strong Microservices expertise to design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions integrated with scalable, cloud-native systems. The role involves building intelligent chatbots, backend service integration, and working on high-availability AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance chatbots using Amazon Lex (V1/V2).
Integrate Lex bots with microservices-based backend systems.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for chatbot and application integrations.
Implement AWS Lambda functions for business logic and orchestration.
Work with API Gateway for secure and scalable API management.
Build and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
Ensure chatbot security, performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to define conversational flows.
Perform testing, debugging, monitoring, and optimization of services.
Follow AWS best practices, CI/CD standards, and infrastructure automation.

Databases & Messaging

DynamoDB / RDS / Aurora
SQS / SNS (good to have)

Nice to Have

Experience with Amazon Connect or contact-center integrations
Exposure to NLP concepts and conversational design
AWS Certification (Developer / Solutions Architect)
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
