Job Title: Business Operations Manager
Role Summary
Oversee strategic operations, investor relations, and financial reporting to empower the leadership team (CEO, COO, C‑suite) in executing high‑impact initiatives across product, GTM, and operations. Deliver data‑driven insights, clear board materials, and scalable processes that enable rapid growth and effective fundraising.
Expectations
- Consistently provide clear, data‑rich investor communications and board reports.
- Maintain accurate, real‑time dashboards, forecasts, and KPI frameworks used daily by leadership.
- Align cross‑functional teams around shared definitions of performance and progress.
- Drive fundraising planning and execution, ensuring data rooms, narratives, and investor outreach are flawless.
- Improve operational cadence, goal‑setting, and planning cycles to reduce surprises and increase predictability.
Key Responsibilities
- **Investor Relations & Fundraising** – Own investor reporting (monthly/quarterly updates, board materials), manage data rooms, support fundraising strategy and investor pipeline.
- **Strategic Finance & Reporting** – Build and evolve dashboards, core KPIs, scenario budgets, forecasts, and provide actionable operational insights.
- **Business Operations** – Lead high‑impact projects, diagnose bottlenecks, design scalable processes, and improve planning and operational cadence.
- **Execution & Cross‑Functional Leadership** – Structure ambiguous problems, build bridges between teams, create repeatable workflows, and ensure clear information flow.
Required Skills
- 3–8+ years in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or BizOps.
- Deep command of SaaS/AI metrics, financial modeling, and investor expectations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong narrative instincts and synthesis.
- Ability to influence C‑level leaders and cross‑functional teams independently.
- Highly analytical with strong judgment; comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
- Experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments with rapidly shifting priorities.
- Bias for clarity, ownership, and momentum; delivers results.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (minimum).
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master of Finance, etc.) and/or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred.
