**Job Title:** Automation Project Manager (F/M)
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end automation for a migration project, defining roadmap, schedule, budget, and resources. Manage a small team, ensure technical risk mitigation, quality, and milestone achievement (FAT, SAT, commissioning). Provide regular bilingual (English/French) reporting, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, and challenge technical choices while not acting as a full developer.
**Expectations:**
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex automation projects.
- Strong command of English for meetings, documentation, and international communication.
- Experience in pharmaceutical and/or agri‑food environments highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years in industrial automation, with a career progression toward project management or automation leadership roles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and manage project scope, roadmap, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Pilot the automation sub‑project within the overall migration effort.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a small technical team.
- Identify and mitigate technical and organizational risks.
- Track progress, quality, and critical milestones (FAT, SAT, commissioning).
- Deliver regular status reports in English to stakeholders.
- Coordinate interfaces between legacy and new systems, including batch environments and OPC/CIP/batch control interfaces.
- Review and challenge technical decisions, ensuring alignment with project goals without performing full development.
**Required Skills:**
- Project management (planning, budgeting, risk management).
- Leadership and team coordination.
- Excellent written and oral communication (French/English).
- Strong organizational and documentation discipline.
- Technical knowledge of batch processing, legacy/new system coexistence, OPC, CIP, and batch control interfaces.
- Ability to evaluate and critique technical solutions.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
- Certifications in automation standards (e.g., OPC, CIP) and/or pharmaceutical/food safety regulations a plus.
