**Job Title:** Chief Strategy Officer
**Role Summary:**
Lead Zinc Network’s strategic, research, creative, and digital functions, integrating AI-powered Kora technology to drive high-impact behavioural interventions, thought leadership, and new business development.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end strategic excellence across research, insight, design, campaign, and digital delivery.
- Foster innovation, quality standards, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Position Zinc as a global authority on behaviour change, strategic communications, and emerging security issues.
- Drive new business through technical proposals, opportunity mapping, and reputation building in international circles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Team Leadership:** Supervise Head of Research & MREL, Creative Director, Head of Digital and strategist team; ensure integrated, high‑performing operations.
2. **Technical Vision & Innovation:** Champion use of AI/technology (Kora) to enhance research, design, measurement, and delivery; set technical standards and drive continuous improvement.
3. **Quality Assurance:** Oversee research design, data analysis, evaluation methodologies, creative output, and campaign performance to meet rigorous standards.
4. **Strategic Development:** Build and codify scalable frameworks for behavioural change and strategic communications; keep methodologies aligned with emerging policy and security issues.
5. **Business Development:** Draft leadership sections for bids and proposals; collaborate with BD to identify, map, and create competitive opportunities; represent Zinc at industry fora to secure new projects.
6. **Thought Leadership:** Produce insights, white papers, and case studies that elevate Zinc’s reputation in behaviour change, influence operations, and global security.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven leadership of strategy, research, and creative teams in communication, consulting, or product design.
- Deep expertise in intervention design, behavioural science, and strategic communications.
- Experience integrating AI/tech solutions to influence audience behaviour.
- Strong analytical, project management, and innovation skills.
- Knowledge of geopolitics, security, and defense contexts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proposal drafting.
- Ability to translate complex problems into actionable, scalable solutions.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, Behavioral Science, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications in Project Management, Data Analytics, or Behavioural Change (e.g., BCCS, PMP) are a plus.
