Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary:
Develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules with a strong focus on CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and integration work. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements and ITIL best practices.
Expectations:
- Deliver robust, scalable ServiceNow solutions that meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and performance benchmarks.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Customize forms, reports, scripts, and UI components using JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, React, SCSS, and HTML5.
- Create and manage CMDB configuration items, relationships, and data quality processes.
- Implement integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server) between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow issues.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and roll‑outs.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Document solutions, processes, and technical designs for maintenance and audit purposes.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and front‑end development (AngularJS/React, HTML5, SCSS).
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – highly preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – highly preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
