**Job Title**
Growth – Software Engineer
**Role Summary**
Build and ship product‑driven growth experiments that increase patient booking and engagement across SMS, phone, email, and mail channels. Own the end‑to‑end loop of sizing, building, launching, and measuring experiments that directly drive activation, conversion, and retention.
**Expectations**
- 3+ years software engineering experience, 1–2 years in a growth or experimentation focus.
- Proven track record of shipping experiments that move core metrics (activation, conversion, booking).
- Comfortable owning the entire experiment lifecycle and collaborating cross‑functionally.
- Ability to work rapidly in a high‑ambiguity, startup‑style environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design experiments (message copy, outreach timing, in‑product booking flows) to increase patient bookings.
2. Optimize multi‑channel engagement (SMS, phone, email, mail) for patients who rarely schedule care.
3. Prioritize growth bets through rapid brainstorming, sizing, and impact assessment.
4. Define, monitor, and analyze funnel metrics to identify drop‑offs and opportunities.
5. Report insights and experiment outcomes to product, design, data, and ops partners.
6. Test unconventional tactics (e.g., door‑knocking pilots) and model outreach volume to match clinical supply and demand.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Node.js, React (Web & Native).
- Experience building backend systems for experimentation, messaging, and funnel activation.
- Familiarity with AWS Amplify stack (AppSync, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFormation), BigQuery, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to use data to detect drop‑offs, size opportunities, and prioritize builds.
- Rapid prototyping, lightweight experimentation, and data‑driven decision making.
- Collaboration with product, design, data, and ops teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- No specific certifications required.
