Business Development Director (Male/Female)
Role Summary
Lead the execution of the commercial strategy for the organization, ensuring client‑centric solutions from needs assessment through to contract signing. Manage multi‑disciplinary teams, coordinate cross‑departmental tender and contract processes, and drive profitability while mitigating financial and contractual risks.

* Oversee end‑to‑end tendering, negotiation, contract management, and post‑sales service.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Commercial Strategy & Leadership** – Deploy business‑development strategy; lead internal teams, ensuring alignment with sales, finance, MCO, procurement, and legal functions.
2. **Client Requirements & Planning** – Partner with sales to capture client needs, develop coherent development plans, and present proposals.
3. **Tender Management** – Direct tender phase activities: commercial preparation, pricing validation, and cross‑functional coordination.
4. **Negotiation & Contracts** – Negotiate commercial terms with stakeholders, manage contract execution, handle disputes and cancellations, and minimize financial exposure with finance and procurement.
5. **Team & Process Management** – Lead execution teams, enforce internal processes, and drive continuous improvement.
6. **Financial Analysis** – Monitor profitability, analyze cash‑flow impacts of solutions, and report results to senior management.

Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Aerospace or a related discipline.
* Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in a Business Development or Commercial Management role; 5+ years of team‑management responsibility.
* Experience within a multinational or multi‑company environment is preferred.
* Eligibility for or current security clearance as required by the role.
* Relevant commercial, financial, procurement, or legal certifications beneficial but not mandatory.
