Job Description
**Job Title** Business Development Representative **Role Summary** Build and nurture the primary pipeline of prospective members for a consulting‑style intelligence startup. Conduct daily outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to university recruiting and talent acquisition leaders, delivering data‑driven insights to position the firm as a trusted advisory partner. **Expectations** - Achieve daily prospecting quotas and weekly conversion metrics. - Position self as a credible advisor and contribute to revenue‑generating opportunities. - Complete structured mentorship and training to transition into senior client‑facing roles. **Key Responsibilities** - Execute targeted outreach campaigns and manage prospect database. - Engage prospects with tailored, consultative conversations; diagnose their priorities. - Present actionable insights and nurture relationships until qualified. - Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams on messaging and proposal development. - Track and report activity and pipeline health using CRM and analytics tools. - Participate in cross‑divisional strategy projects and present findings to leadership. **Required Skills** - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication. - Strong consultative selling mindset; ability to diagnose needs and articulate solutions. - Proven negotiation and closing skills with a consultative approach. - Analytical flair for interpreting and communicating data insights. - Self‑starter with high energy, resilience, and accountability. - Comfortable using CRM (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms and Microsoft Office. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. - No specific certifications required; preference for sales or consultative training courses (e.g., HubSpot Sales, Pipedrive, or equivalent).
