Job Description: **Job Title** QA Automation Lead / QA Strategy Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the development and implementation of test and automation strategies across multiple teams in Agile/DevOps environments. Drive quality, scalability, and continuous improvement through methodical test design, process standardization, and shift-left testing practices. **Expectations** - Demonstrate proven experience in QA automation, progressed to a lead or strategic role. - Own the QA vision, methodology, and strategy, ensuring alignment with product and delivery goals. - Communicate complex quality concepts to stakeholders and influence process improvements. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, document, and execute comprehensive test and automation strategies for complex systems. - Define and enforce testing processes and standards across cross-functional teams. - Champion shift‑left testing: integrate testing early in the SDLC. - Oversee CI/CD integration and manage modern QA tooling pipelines. - Assess and implement risk‑based testing and release readiness metrics. - Mentor and elevate QA team skills and quality mindset. - Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to drive quality outcomes. **Required Skills** - Extensive QA automation experience with a leadership track record. - Strong methodological testing background (black‑box, white‑box, regression, performance, security). - Expertise in designing and implementing automation strategies in complex environments. - Proficient in defining and standardising QA processes across teams. - Deep understanding of shift‑left testing, Agile, and DevOps practices. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern QA tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - Knowledge of risk‑based testing, release readiness, and maturity‑based test program design. - Fluent in English; native Dutch or native French. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (not explicitly required but strongly recommended). - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification desirable.
