Job title: Head of Sales Role Summary: Lead and scale the entire sales organization for a B2B SaaS firm specializing in e‑commerce experimentation. Own end‑to‑end sales processes, build a high‑performance team, and drive predictable revenue growth. Expectations: - Grow qualified pipeline and close deals to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. - Establish and continually improve the sales playbook, prospecting, and demo processes. - Maintain a high level of client retention and account expansion. - Provide data‑driven reporting on key metrics to senior leadership and adjust strategies accordingly. Key Responsibilities: - Recruit, onboard, mentor, and manage a remote sales team. - Design and implement account‑based sales strategies tailored to Shopify merchants. - Develop scripts, objection handling guides, and demo flows that align with product value propositions. - Forecast quarterly sales, monitor quota attainment, and report progress to executive leadership. - Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless handoffs and customer lifecycle management. - Analyze sales performance data, uncover trends, and build actionable insights to refine tactics. Required Skills: - Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams in SaaS/e‑commerce. - Expertise in accounting‑based selling, prospecting, and pipeline management. - Strong coaching, motivation, and performance management abilities. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting CRM and KPIs. - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (advanced degree preferred). - Certifications such as Certified Account Manager (CAM) or similar sales credentials are a plus.
