Job title: Retail Marketing Director Role Summary: Lead national marketing for a cannabis retail brand, coordinating integrated media, omnichannel campaigns, and new‑store launch communications to drive brand awareness, footfall, and revenue. Expectations: Deliver insight‑driven marketing initiatives that align with product priorities and compliance, ensuring optimal spend and measurable impact across digital and traditional channels. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute annual marketing strategy for retail footprint. - Plan and manage SEO, SEM, programmatic display, and OOH media tactics. - Align promotional calendars with Retail Operations and Brand Marketing. - Create and oversee national omnichannel campaigns for key retail moments (e.g., 4/20, holidays, openings). - Budget planning, forecasting, and spend optimization in partnership with SVP of Marketing. - Manage external creative partners and supervise a Retail Marketing Coordinator. Required Skills - Strategic planning and execution in integrated marketing. - Strong digital media expertise (SEO, SEM, programmatic, OOH). - Campaign development and creative oversight. - Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management. - Project management, multitasking, and detail orientation. - Excellent communication and decision‑making ability. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. - Proven experience (5+ years) in retail marketing or related industry. - Familiarity with cannabis retail regulations is advantageous.
