**Job Title:** Director, Channel Enablement **Role Summary:** Lead the design, activation, and scaling of Geotab Vitality’s channel sales ecosystem. Drive partner education, enablement, and revenue generation across 800+ reseller partners and the internal Business Development team. Own sales targets, shape product‑market fit through market feedback, and build a high‑performing sales organization. **Expectations:** - Achieve and exceed channel‑driven sales targets across all customer segments. - Establish scalable training and enablement programs that convert partners into top sellers. - Deliver actionable market insights that influence product roadmap and go‑to‑market strategy. - Build and mentor a sales team as the channel function expands. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Channel Activation & Evangelism** – Educate, motivate, and incentivize reseller partners and internal BD team; develop and roll out training curricula and sales tools. 2. **Strategic Sales Leadership** – Own channel revenue results; collaborate with Customer Success to craft account‑ and partner‑level growth plans; integrate offerings into enterprise and government proposals. 3. **Market Voice & Product Influence** – Capture partner and customer feedback; remove adoption barriers; guide product roadmap and GTM tactics. 4. **Team Building** – Recruit, onboard, and lead a sales team; foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. 5. **New Channel Expansion** – Support entry into direct sales and commercial insurance channels. **Required Skills:** - 7+ years progressive experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management (SaaS, IoT, telematics preferred). - Proven B2B sales leadership with measurable revenue growth. - Deep expertise in building and managing indirect sales ecosystems. - Strong instructional design and sales enablement capabilities. - Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Strategic thinker with a hands‑on execution mindset; data‑driven decision making. - Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior sales talent. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (required). - MBA or relevant advanced degree (preferred). - Professional certifications in sales enablement or channel management (e.g., Certified Channel Sales Professional) are a plus.
