**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Own and continuously improve the AWS platform, CI/CD pipelines, security posture, and operational reliability. Collaborate with developers, QA, and technical leads to enable rapid, safe, and auditable delivery of cloud‑based applications.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud infrastructure.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
- Maintain high availability and performance of applications and databases.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda).
- Own patch management, access control, vulnerability mitigation, and secure SDLC tooling.
- Operate and optimize TeamCity CI/CD pipelines; automate releases and rollback strategies.
- Tune MySQL performance, configure backups, and manage data lifecycle.
- Develop repeatable, automated patterns to support multi‑region expansion.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, documentation, and audit evidence.
- Engage with developers to implement best practices for deployment (blue/green, canary).
**Required Skills:**
- Proven DevOps or platform experience with .NET workloads on AWS.
- Deep Windows Server administration; PowerShell & Bash scripting.
- CI/CD expertise in TeamCity, Jira; experience configuring pipelines, artifact repositories, and automated deployments.
- AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and related security tools.
- MySQL administration, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Monitoring and alerting implementation (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
- Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices, patching, and vulnerability management.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with .NET Core deployment patterns, containerization, and version control is an asset.
