Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Role Summary
Design, develop, test, and implement custom Salesforce solutions. Responsible for Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, integration, performance optimization, documentation, and ongoing enhancements in an agile environment.
Expectations
- Deliver high-quality, scalable Salesforce applications that meet business requirements.
- Lead or fully own development tasks, from design to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to refine requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain code quality, version control, testing standards, and technical documentation.
- Continuously improve system performance and integration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Design and implement data models, SOQL queries, and batch processes.
- Create, configure, and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and middleware connections.
- Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure 75‑80% test coverage.
- Provide debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning support.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Produce technical documentation, integration schematics, and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/Lightning Web Components).
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
- Advanced SOQL/SOSL query writing and data modeling expertise.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, JIRA or similar tools.
- Version control using Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
- Debugging, problem‑solving, and performance optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications (or equivalent).
- Experience with large‑scale Salesforce implementations or enterprise‑level clients preferred.
