Job Description: Job Title: Data Product Lead (Relocation to Malta required) Role Summary: Lead and mentor a team of data product owners, defining strategy, roadmap, and governance for data products that enable executive decision‑making. Own end‑to‑end delivery of data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely, on‑budget execution. Expactations: Deliver measurable business impact through data product development; demonstrate proven leadership in a data‑products context; possess strong stakeholder communication; maintain high standards of data security, governance, and quality; continuously improve product performance through data‑driven insights. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, coach, and evaluate a cross‑functional team of data product owners. - Define vision, strategy, and roadmap; prioritize features with business stakeholders. - Own project planning, risk mitigation, and on‑time, on‑budget delivery. - Act as primary liaison for all data product inquiries; communicate progress and insights to executives. - Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs; drive iterative enhancements based on performance metrics. Required Skills: - 5+ years in data product management, BI, or analytics; 3+ in a leadership role. - Expertise in data architecture concepts (warehousing, ETL), SQL, and BI tools (e.g., PowerBI). - Strong project management, organizational, and risk‑management capabilities. - Deep understanding of data governance, security best practices, and compliance. - Excellent verbal and written communication; fluency in English. - Collaborative, decisive, and a strong team player. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Certifications in data analytics or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, ScrumMaster) considered an advantage.
