Freddie’s Flowers is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer flower business based in the UK and Germany. It all started with Freddie Garland delivering weekly flowers to his Mum & Dad’s neighbours back in 2015 in a knackered old milk float. Our wonderful team is now delivering thousands of boxes every day, but Freddie’s original idea hasn’t changed - to change people’s relationship with flowers. We want to bring the happiness and joy of arranging and experiencing your own flowers into everyone’s home, and in a way that has as little environmental impact as possible - we’re now a B Corp certified, proving that our love for flowers goes hand-in-hand with our love for the planet. The secret to our success is: We love what we do and we know what the plan is. We work hard to do it brilliantly. We have fun working together.

**Job Title** Brand Director **Role Summary** Lead the development, execution, and evolution of the brand strategy across consumer, lifestyle, or luxury categories. Drive brand awareness, growth, and loyalty while ensuring consistent brand experience across all touchpoints. Anchor the brand vision in commercial objectives and cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and purpose within the marketing and creative teams. **Expectations** - 10+ years of senior brand leadership in consumer, beauty, lifestyle, or premium DTC sectors. - Hands‑on execution of campaign planning and delivery with clear, measurable outcomes. - Ability to operate collaboratively with founders, senior executives, and creative‑led teams. - Mentor and coach a senior brand manager and copy lead, fostering professional growth and alignment with brand goals. - Proactively identify new market opportunities and cultural trends to guide brand expansion into gifting, retail, or international markets. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Brand Strategy & Positioning** – Refine and evolve brand strategy, architecture, messaging, and tone of voice. Lead seasonal and annual brand planning with creative and commercial stakeholders. 2. **Brand Direction & Execution** – Mentor brand and creative teams to deliver emotionally compelling, consistent campaigns and content across social, partnerships, press, and events. Set measurable goals and track performance. 3. **Team Leadership & Collaboration** – Manage and coach a Senior Brand Manager and Copy Lead; represent the brand in senior management. Bridge creative and commercial functions to ensure alignment and a positive brand culture. 4. **Growth & Innovation** – Drive brand evolution as the company enters new categories or geographies. Utilize insights, data, and intuition to uncover audience segments and brand opportunities.
