Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer Role Summary Lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and operational technology (OT) security across a global chemical organization. Align security initiatives with IT roadmaps, business priorities, and regulatory requirements, while managing a hybrid security model of Managed Security Provider (MSP) operations and internal Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) oversight. Expectations - Drive a holistic security posture that protects intellectual property, manufacturing operations, and data assets. - Serve as primary cybersecurity advisor to CIO, Board, and executive leadership. - Integrate security controls into IT, OT, plant modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation projects. - Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards; lead risk assessments, audits, and vendor due diligence. - Foster a security-aware culture and deliver continuous improvement of incident response and operational resilience. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategy aligned with IT roadmap and business objectives. - Advise CIO, Board, and executives on risk, threat intelligence, and compliance. - Represent information security in IT governance forums, architecture councils, and cross‑functional initiatives. - Lead internal GRC team: policy development, audit, risk management, and compliance reporting. - Oversee MSP performance: define SLAs, KPIs, incident response, and threat monitoring. - Coordinate security incidents across IT, OT, and MSP to maintain business continuity. - Ensure IT and OT networks meet corporate security policies, secure configuration, and segmentation standards. - Partner with IT, infrastructure, operations, and engineering to secure industrial control systems (ICS/OT). - Manage data protection, encryption, identity management, and vendor security due diligence. - Collaborate with Procurement and Legal on security requirements in contracts and agreements. - Promote organization‑wide cybersecurity awareness and training. Required Skills - Strategic leadership and executive communication. - Deep knowledge of IT/OT security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443). - Experience managing MSP relationships and GRC functions. - Proficiency in risk assessment, audit, compliance, and incident response. - Strong understanding of cloud security, industrial control systems, and data protection. - Vendor risk management and contract negotiation skills. - Ability to integrate security into enterprise IT/OT projects and digital transformations. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - Minimum of 10 years of progressive security leadership experience, including OT environments. - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required. - Additional certifications: CISM, CRISC, or Certified Information Security Manager, and/or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) preferred.

Ensures reliable, secure, and cost‑effective infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, and business continuity capabilities.
