Job Description
Job Title: Account Manager Role Summary: Account Manager responsible for promoting HPE products and services, ensuring business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions through strategic partner engagement and channel development. Drives sales growth, manages the full sales cycle, and supports marketing initiatives to achieve long‑term revenue and profitability targets. Expectations: - Execute a clear strategy and roadmap for assigned product/service lines. - Build and sustain strong partnerships with existing and potential channels. - Expand sales volume and market reach within the designated territory. - Deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports. - Promote HPE offerings regionally and maintain brand visibility. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement product/service strategy in alignment with company objectives. - Lead partner relations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy. - Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing channels/clients. - Build and maintain a comprehensive channel/customer database; analyze data to identify loyalty and opportunities. - Conduct market research to specify current and future product/service requirements. - Manage the entire sales cycle from quotation to collection, including credit and payment performance monitoring. - Resolve outstanding settlements and manage credit risk. - Generate sales for the full product/service portfolio, focusing on long‑term revenue and profitability. - Produce accurate sales forecasts and market development reports. - Oversee targeted marketing programs, monitor progress, and provide recommendations. - Represent the company and its services within the region. Required Skills: - Proven sales leadership and partnership management. - Strong analytical skills for database management, metrics, and forecasting. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Ability to conduct market research and translate findings into actionable strategies. - Proficiency in managing credit and collections processes. - Familiarity with HPE or similar technology solutions is advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. - Minimum 5+ years of relevant sales experience. - Certifications in sales or technology (e.g., HPE certifications) are a plus.
