Job title: Senior Manager Corporate M&A / Corporate Development / Strategy Consultant Role Summary: Lead the sourcing and origination function for a private equity‑backed SaaS buy‑and‑build platform in France. Identify high‑quality acquisition targets in fragmented markets, build and manage a proprietary deal pipeline, conduct founder outreach and initial qualification, and report funnel metrics to the investment team. Expectations: 4–8+ years of experience in deal sourcing, business development, or corporate development within a buy‑and‑build or fragmented market environment. Proven track record of building and managing a proprietary deal pipeline and executing outbound outreach. Fluent in French and English. Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with internal investment resources. Key Responsibilities - Identify and prioritize SaaS sub‑verticals and fragmented niches in France. - Build, maintain, and scale a proprietary deal pipeline tailored to buy‑and‑build opportunities. - Conduct market scanning, competitor analysis, and target profiling. - Lead proactive outreach to founders and management teams, including cold calls and email campaigns. - Perform initial qualification calls, assess strategic fit, and compile brief due‑diligence summaries. - Hand over vetted opportunities to the investment team for further evaluation. - Track, report, and analyze funnel metrics (lead volume, conversion rates, pipeline value). - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing priorities with investment strategy. Required Skills - 4–8+ years in M&A origination, deal sourcing, or business development. - Experience in buy‑and‑build frameworks or with fragmented market dynamics. - Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a proprietary sourcing pipeline. - Strong skills in founder outreach, outbound prospecting, and relationship building. - Deep understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue metrics, and market sizing. - Analytical aptitude for evaluating deal attractiveness and strategic fit. - Fluency in French and English; excellent written and verbal communication. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline. - MBA or PE/M&A certification (e.g., CFA, CAIB) is a plus.**
