**Job Title:** Senior Business Development Manager – Finance, Restructuring & Structured Finance
**Role Summary:**
Senior manager responsible for leading strategic business development across Finance, Restructuring, and Structured Finance practices. Plans and executes BD strategy across UK, Europe, and US markets, manages high‑profile pitches and proposals, drives marketing and award activities, and oversees thought‑leadership and event initiatives to enhance client engagement and market visibility.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver measurable business growth and lead generation for Finance, Restructuring, and Structured Finance sectors.
- Maintain and improve BD processes, reporting, and credentialing infrastructure.
- Ensure high‑quality, compliant marketing and proposal deliverables across multiple jurisdictions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute BD strategy for UK, European, and US markets.
- Create, review, and manage pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and marketing collateral for complex transactions.
- Lead award and directory submissions to sustain top‑tier rankings.
- Own thought‑leadership content, client alerts, and social media strategy.
- Coordinate client engagement activities and practice‑specific events.
- Maintain BD reporting tools, deal tracking, and credential listings.
**Required Skills:**
- Manager‑level BD/marketing experience in professional services (legal preferred).
- Strong commercial awareness of finance and restructuring markets.
- Proven project management across multi‑jurisdictional teams.
- Advanced written and verbal communication; exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and LinkedIn.
- Hands‑on, proactive, resilient, and positive “can‑do” attitude.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (law, finance, business or related field).
- Professional qualifications (e.g., qualified lawyer, CPA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
- Continuous professional development in business development or marketing highly regarded.
