Senior Business Development Manager – Finance, Restructuring & Structured Finance (12-month FTC)

Join a leading law firm in London and play a pivotal role in driving strategic business development initiatives across market-leading Finance, Restructuring, and Structured Finance practices.

What You’ll Do

Lead strategic BD planning across the UK, European, and US markets, collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Manage high-quality pitches and proposals, RFPs, and marketing materials for complex, high-profile transactions.
Drive directory and award submissions to maintain top-tier rankings and market visibility.
Oversee thought leadership initiatives, client alerts, and social media strategies to enhance brand presence.
Coordinate client engagement activities and practice-specific events to strengthen relationships.
Maintain and improve BD infrastructure, including deal reporting, credentials, and league table submissions.

What We’re Looking For

Significant BD/Marketing experience at manager level or above within professional services (legal sector preferred).
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of finance and restructuring markets.
Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and LinkedIn.
Hands-on, proactive, and resilient with a positive, can-do attitude.
