Job Description
Job title: Project Manager Intern Role Summary: 12‑week paid internship combining project management and field engineering. Interns collaborate with senior PMs to plan, schedule, coordinate, and track projects, while supporting on‑site operations, inspections, and documentation. Expectations: • Complete internship in summer 2026; deliver actionable project updates, reports, and presentations. • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills. • Attend project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items. • Maintain and update project management tools and field records. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation. • Track milestones, deliverables, and deadlines across multiple projects. • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including subcontractors and vendors. • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and monitor safety compliance. • Support daily field operations: inspections, quality assurance, data collection, as‑built drawings, RFIs, and submittals. • Manage material tracking, scheduling, and delivery coordination. • Prepare progress reports, presentations, and meeting minutes for leadership. Required Skills: • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. • Organized, self‑motivated, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. • Proficiency in common computer applications; training provided as needed. Required Education & Certifications: • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (≥1 year of post‑secondary education). • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred; internship or consulting experience a plus.
