About This Role
At R.R. Cassidy, Inc., we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier electrical systems and solutions for a wide range of industries. We're excited to offer a 12 week, paid Internship opportunity to join our team in Summer 2026. This position will involve a combination of project management duties and hands-on field engineering work. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and a team player attitude.
What You'll Do
As a Project Manager Intern, you will work closely with our project management team to help plan, coordinate, and execute projects on time and within scope. You’ll gain hands-on experience in project planning, stakeholder communication, timeline tracking, and agile methodologies while contributing to real business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and documentation
Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Participate in meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies
Help maintain project management tools
Prepare progress reports and presentations for leadership
Support multiple projects simultaneously under the supervision of a Project Manager
As a Field Engineer Intern, you’ll work directly with project engineers, site supervisors, and construction managers to assist with daily field activities, inspections, technical documentation, and site coordination. This is a valuable opportunity to bridge academic knowledge with practical field experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily field operations and project coordination
Support site inspections and quality assurance activities
Collect and analyze field data for reporting and documentation
Help maintain as-built drawings, RFIs, submittals, and other field records
Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Monitor safety compliance and support safety documentation efforts
Assist with material tracking, scheduling, and delivery coordination
Attend project meetings and document minutes and follow-ups
Minimum Qualifications
What You'll Bring
Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with at least one-year of post-secondary education.
Essential Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of computer application software (training will be provided if needed)
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Valued But Not Required Skills And Experience
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
Prior internship and/or related consulting experience.
