Job title: BE Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)
Role Summary: Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions, drive automation, and lead operations reliability and compliance for enterprise workloads.
Expactations: 5+ years Azure experience with deep expertise in compute, networking, storage, IaC, CI/CD, container orchestration, Azure security, and monitoring. Fluent in Dutch and/or French, proficient in English, strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement secure, cost‑effective Azure solutions following Well‑Architected Framework and compliance standards (ISO27001, DORA, GDPR).
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ARM or Bicep, and automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring with CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Functions, Networking, Storage) and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup.
- Implement security best practices (IAM, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud) and support audits.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and contribute to cloud strategy, governance, and FinOps.
Required Skills:
- Azure compute, networking, storage, and services.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, Bicep.
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes/AKS.
- Azure AD, RBAC, identity, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitoring/observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Datadog.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
- Design resilient architectures, migration experience, strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
