Business Development Representative, AI Trust Solutions (Contractor)
**Role Summary**
Drive early‑stage go‑to‑market for SuperviseAI by building pipeline, acquiring design‑partner customers, and feeding market insights to product leadership. Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to shape positioning, customer adoption, and product roadmap for AI agent oversight.
**Expectations**
- Generate top‑of‑funnel pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, and ecosystem connections.
- Secure 2–3 design‑partner proof‑of‑concept customers.
- Deliver actionable feedback on customer pain points, buying triggers, and competitive landscape to refine ICP and messaging.
- Maintain high outreach velocity, CRM hygiene, and data‑driven iteration of prospecting sequences.
- Collaborate with senior executives on demos, discovery calls, and follow‑up strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Pipeline & Market Creation** – Conduct cold/warm outreach to senior AI/ML, product, trust & safety, and compliance leaders; craft tailored messaging.
2. **Design‑Partner Acquisition** – Identify, qualify, and engage prospects with sufficient technical maturity and urgency for early POC collaborations.
3. **Feedback Loop** – Capture and synthesize customer signals (pain points, triggers, language) and relay to product and leadership.
4. **Executive Collaboration** – Prepare and support CEO‑level meetings, demos, and negotiations with high‑value prospects.
5. **Sales Operations** – Manage outreach tools (LinkedIn, email, automation platforms), maintain CRM accuracy, and optimize sequences based on performance metrics.
**Required Skills**
- 2+ years business development, sales, or partnership experience, preferably in SaaS or AI‑focused environments.
- Strong curiosity and ability to grasp and explain AI agents, generative AI, and related technical concepts.
- Proven outbound prospecting skills (cold email, LinkedIn, calls) and experience with outreach automation tools (e.g., Apollo, HubSpot, HeyReach).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable engaging VP‑level and senior technical leaders.
- Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to manage multiple parallel outreach streams.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience iterating messaging and sequences based on metrics.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- No specific certifications required; demonstrated expertise in sales/BD processes is essential.
