Job Description: **Job Title**: Tool Development Engineer (Automotive Simulation) **Role Summary**: Develop and maintain Python‑based simulation toolchains, automate workflows, and collaborate with simulation engineers to improve efficiency and reliability of automotive simulation processes. **Expactations**: 0–2 years of experience in tool development, automation, or simulation. Strong motivation to learn simulation environments and engineering workflows. Ability to work independently and communicate requirements clearly. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, code, test, and deploy Python tools for pre‑processing, post‑processing, and automation of simulation workflows. - Create scripts and utilities to support parameterization, data handling, and integration across the simulation toolchain. - Collaborate with simulation engineers to gather requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and validate outputs. - Enhance tool efficiency, robustness, and user experience for team-wide adoption. - Document development processes, usage guides, and maintain project artifacts in Jira and Confluence. - Work with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, VBA, and Dymola to interface tools with simulation platforms. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Python programming (data manipulation, scripting, automation). - Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, VBA, and Dymola. - Experience with version control and issue tracking (Jira, Confluence). - Knowledge of 12V & 48V power supply systems and automotive simulation fundamentals. - Understanding of the V‑Modell development process (SYS.x, SWE.x, HWE.x). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline. - Relevant certifications or courses in Python, simulation tools, or automotive engineering are a plus.
