We’re expanding our team and looking for a Tool Development Engineer to join an exciting ongoing project with a leading automotive client.

If you enjoy building robust engineering tools, automating workflows, and collaborating with simulation teams, this role is for you.

The position is strongly focused on Python-based tool development, with close interaction with simulation engineers.

Your Mission

Your main mission will be to build, improve, and maintain the simulation toolchain, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

What You’ll Do

Develop Python tools and enhance simulation toolchains (pre-processing, post-processing, automation)
Create scripts and utilities to support parameterization and simulation workflows
Improve efficiency and robustness of engineering tools used across the team
Collaborate with simulation engineers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
Validate tool outputs and ensure smooth integration into existing processes

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or similar
0–2 years of experience in tool development, automation, or simulation
Knowledge of 12V & 48V power supply systems
Solid Python skills (data handling, scripting, automation)
Familiarity with the V-Modell development process (SYS.x, SWE.x, HWE.x)
Strong motivation to learn simulation environments and engineering workflows
