Job Description

Job Title: Public Relations Intern Role Summary: Assist a beauty and wellness PR team with media relations, research, and campaign support, gaining hands‑on experience in press coverage, media list creation, and industry analysis. Expectations: 12‑month for‑credit internship starting January 2026, unpaid, Monday & Wednesday 10:00 AM‑5:00 PM, un‑remote at office. Must maintain academic enrollment proof and meet internship credit requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain targeted media lists for client launches. • Monitor and report media coverage, including clipping and trend analysis. • Conduct competitive brand audits and track industry trends. • Draft press pitches, gifting outreach, and media communication. • Assemble and ship media mailers, fulfill product requests, and organize office materials. • Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks for the beauty team. Required Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication. • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, proactive. • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. • Basic research skills and familiarity with media databases. • Interest in beauty, wellness, or PR; prior experience a plus. Required Education & Certifications: • Current enrollment in a college or university program. • Eligible for a for‑credit internship.
