Public Relations Internship Opportunity at AZIONE PR

AZIONE PR, an award-winning public relations and creative communications agency, is seeking a dedicated Public Relations Intern to support our beauty team in the NYC office on Mondays and Fridays 10-5PM. This for-credit, unpaid internship offers hands-on experience in public relations, media relations, and industry research, providing an opportunity to work closely with top brands and gain valuable insight into the PR field.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of the public relations and media industry, with a focus on beauty and wellness brands
Assist in press reporting, including clipping, reporting, and monitoring media coverage
Research and build targeted media lists for client launches and initiatives
Conduct competitive brand audits and track emerging industry trends
Draft press pitches and gifting outreach for media contacts
Support with administrative tasks, including assembling and shipping media mailers, fulfilling product requests, and organizing office materials

Ideal Candidate

Currently enrolled in college and eligible for a for-credit internship
Strong interest in public relations and media relations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Previous Beauty PR or communications experience is a plus

Internship Details

Location: In office in our Tribeca location
Preferred Days: Monday & Wednesday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: January 2026
Compensation: Unpaid, for-credit internship
