Job Description

**Job Title:** MES Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, configure, implement, and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions within a medical device manufacturing environment. Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement of production processes and data analytics. **Expectations:** - Deliver reliable MES configurations aligned with operational goals. - Proactively identify and resolve technical problems. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage project timelines. - Uphold industry standards (e.g., ISA‑95) and ensure data integrity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and configure MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk). - Develop and maintain databases, SQL queries, and application code (Python, .NET). - Integrate MES with automation and control systems on the shop floor. - Perform system testing, validation, and documentation. - Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for production performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve MES‑related incidents and performance bottlenecks. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects. - Coordinate with IT, quality, and manufacturing teams to align MES functionality with business needs. **Required Skills:** - Strong programming (Python, .NET) and database management (SQL, schema design). - Experience with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or equivalents. - Knowledge of manufacturing automation, control systems, and ISA‑95 standards. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities. - Effective communication, teamwork, and project management skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., MES, PLC, or SQL) are a plus but not mandatory.
