Role Description

This is a contract role for a MES Engineer based at Connecticut. The MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining MES systems in a manufacturing environment. The role includes tasks such as coordinating with other engineering teams, gathering system requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing system performance. The MES Engineer will also support data analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and production processes.

Qualifications

Strong programming and database management skills, including proficiency in coding, database design, and application development
Strong SQL skills
Familiarity with industrial processes, automation, and control systems in manufacturing environments
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Musgt have Experience in MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar systems is advantageous
Knowledge of industry standards related to MES and manufacturing, such as ISA-95, is desired
Good knowledge of Python and Dot Net
