**Job Title**
Data Engineer & Analyst
**Role Summary**
Responsible for extracting, cleaning, structuring, and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and statistical models. Supports decision‑making by ensuring data quality, developing ETL pipelines, and automating reporting processes across cloud and on‑premise environments.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Data Acquisition & Preparation**
- Automate extraction from files, APIs, SQL databases, and big‑data systems.
- Clean, deduplicate, and transform raw data.
- Design and maintain analytical data models.
2. **Exploratory & Statistical Analysis**
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Define, test, and validate business KPIs using statistical methods.
- Build simple descriptive and explanatory models.
3. **Visualization & Communication**
- Develop interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
- Automate report refreshes and distribution.
- Present insights to decision makers and translate them into business actions.
4. **Automation & Integration**
- Build and refine ETL pipelines.
- Optimize SQL queries and manage data access controls.
- Deploy solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
**Required Skills**
- **Programming:** Python (pandas, numpy, seaborn, scipy, statsmodels, scikit‑learn), R.
- **Databases & SQL:** PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery.
- **BI Tools:** Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, advanced Excel.
- **Automation & APIs:** REST APIs, ETL tools, scheduled scripting (cron, Power Automate).
- **Documentation & Collaboration:** Markdown, Notion, Confluence, Miro.
- **Soft Skills:** Clear communication, analytical rigor, teamwork, autonomy, time management, collaborative leadership.
**Required Education & Certifications** (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Professional certifications in data engineering or analytics (e.g., Google Cloud Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
