Job Description

**Job title** Java Software Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy Java-based modules for banking clients. Collaborate on requirement definition, architectural decisions and technical analyses to deliver robust back‑end solutions. **Expectations** - 0–5 years of software development experience (required). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Fluent in French; proficient in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and refine client requirements and architectural choices. - Conduct conceptual and technical analyses of system components. - Develop, integrate and test Jakarta EE / Spring Java components. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP web services. - Deploy components into client environments and support operations. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Java 17+; Jakarta EE 8+; Spring 6 (CDI, JPA). - REST and SOAP web‑service development. - Experience with JBoss EAP 8 (preferred). - Familiarity with Docker containers. - Proficient with GIT, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus. - Strong problem‑solving, self‑learning and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. - No mandatory certifications.
