Job title: Human Resources Intern Role Summary: A student-facing HR support role that supplies administrative, operational, and people‑focused assistance to the Human Resources team in a fast‑paced hospitality setting, developing core HR competencies while contributing to employee experience and departmental projects. Expectations: Minimum 30 hrs/week; unpaid; must be a current university/college student completing the internship as a formal requirement of an academic or co‑op program; willingness to work independently and support cross‑department collaboration. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and execute HR projects and departmental initiatives. • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR staff and leadership. • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and new‑hire documentation. • Maintain communication with departments involved in HR activities. • Support internal recognition programs and employee engagement events. • Draft and prepare departmental correspondence. • Manage inbound/outbound mail, documents, and communications. • Keep physical and electronic filing systems organized and accurate. • Perform general HR documentation, record‑keeping, and data entry. • Monitor and replenish HR office supplies. • Attend meetings and prepare minutes. • Report unsafe conditions and adhere to safety procedures. • Uphold brand standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
