**Job title:** Senior Manager of IT
**Role Summary:**
Lead IT strategy and operations for a SaaS revenue‑cycle platform serving large hospital systems. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with HITRUST, HIPAA, HITECH, and related standards, and driving AI‑enabled product capabilities.
**Expactations:**

* Achieve and maintain HITRUST certification and other relevant compliance attestations.
* Build and mentor a high‑performing IT team that aligns with organizational growth and innovation goals.
* Align IT budgets and vendor relationships with business priorities while maximizing ROI.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute the IT roadmap focused on hybrid cloud SaaS scalability, uptime, and security.
* Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, on‑prem).
* Lead HITRUST certification efforts, including policy development, risk management, and audit readiness.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, SOC 2) and stay abreast of regulatory changes.
* Partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to support product delivery for large hospital clients.
* Translate business requirements into secure, compliant technical solutions.
* Build, coach, and scale an IT team; implement succession planning and continuous improvement practices.
* Plan and manage IT budgets, forecast spend, and negotiate vendor contracts.
* Monitor IT KPIs (availability, incident response, security metrics) and report on performance.
* Develop and execute incident response and disaster recovery plans.
* Oversee AI/ML framework integration, secure data pipelines, and governance for healthcare data.
* Evaluate emerging technologies; recommend adoption to maintain competitive advantage.
* Document and maintain an internal knowledge base for IT operations.
* Align Network Operations and Special Projects with unified technical governance.
**Required Skills:**
* Hybrid cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑prem integration.
* HITRUST, HIPAA, HITECH compliance, and risk management.
* Information security, incident response, identity/access management, data protection.
* SaaS‑based enterprise architecture and cloud migration.
* AI/ML integration for cloud products.
* IT budgeting, forecasting, and ROI optimization.
* Team building, coaching, performance management.
* Strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
* Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 10+ years of progressive IT experience, 5+ in SaaS leadership within regulated industries.
* Key certifications (highly desirable): CISSP, CISM, HITRUST CCSFP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, etc.
